On behalf of our pupils, staff and governors, I would like to welcome you to our website.

Ysgol Cedewain is a special school providing an education for pupils from 2½ to 19 years who have a wide range of learning difficulties. Currently, there are 115 pupils on roll.

The National Curriculum is followed, although broken down into achievable steps appropriate to individual need. We are always pleased to celebrate pupils’ abilities and progress however small the steps.

A copy of our inspection report can be found here. We are situated in Newtown, Powys amidst beautiful countryside where pupils can enjoy a variety of outdoor activities.

The school has skilled staff and specialist equipment. Our staff work closely with a multi-disciplinary team of professionals to ensure the very best care and education for each and every pupil.
